Day 1:

Depart Taichung/Taipei.Drive up to Snow Mountain Tunnel on the nr 3 national road through nr. 5 to Ilan and then down the scenic coastal Su Hua Highway to Taroko Gorge.Light Lunch in the gorge.Enroute to Hualien and check-in at hotel. Dinner at shrimp dumpling restaurant.Walk to night market and then Jade Market.Free Time.

Day 2 :

Drive down the scenic Highway 11 and Hua Tung Valley along the coast via tea plantation .

-Green Island ferry

-Green Island hotsprings

Day 3:

Green Island snorkeling –

Ferry back then drive to Kenting

-visit some aboriginal villages on the way through the Mudan aboriginal area.Check in at Kenting and then visit street market .

Day 4:

Kenting National Park . Visit various areas and do a few walks

Day 5:

Kenting to Kaohsiung via Meinong on the way . Parasol making and Hakka Museum - explore surrounds

Day 6:

Kaohsiung to Tainan .

Tainan - Explore Tainan City

Koxinga’s Shrine, Chih Kan Tower .Whole day of walking through the old part of the city .

Day 7:

Anping Fort and surrounds - museums and places of interest.

Day 8:

Tainan to Sun Moon Lake over Alishan - Giant Tree walk ( 1,5 hours)

Visit tea plantation and factory on the way. Tea ceremony.

Day 9:

Lake cruise . Cable car ride . Visit some sights.Walking - Free time.

Day 10:

Wen Wu Temple on the Lake ,Chung Tai Monastery, Lukang . Check in hotel Taichung. Feng Jia night market in Taichung

Day 11:

Big Buddha and Sanyi Wood carving village .Drop off at High Speed Train in Taichung.
