Taiwan 7 Day Tours:

Larry and Cindy’s VIP Taiwan Tour

Day 1:

 

Pick-up in Taipei or Taichung at 8 AM and enroute to Taroko Gorge through the new Snow Mountain tunnel and around the beautiful coastal route carved out by human hands.

Frequent stops in the Gorge and lunch at local restaurant. Check-in at Charming City Hotel Hualien (Dinner at French Restaurant for your own account/or any other restaurant). After dinner tour of the Jade and Marble Market in Hualien.

Day 2 :

B/fast at Hotel. Enroute ( Eastern Rift Valley or Coastal road – up to you; frequent stops)to Taitung ( Fugang Harbor ) and then board ferry for Green Island.

Day 3:
Depart Green Island in afternoon, visit Aboriginal arts and craft private shop; drive to Kenting over the nr 9 scenic mountain pass and nr 21 coastal route. Check-in at centrally located hotel, Kenting.
Day 4:

B/fast ( English style) – free time; and then drive through Kenting National Park and visit Aquarium with whale sharks!!

Check-in Wen Pin Hotel (close to Love River) Kaohsiung. River cruise and and riverside walk. (Dinner at Waterfront or TGI Friday’s or any other –for own account).

Day 5:
B/fast at Hotel and then drive to Ali Shan – free time in Mountain Forest - Big Tree Trail. Scenic drive over the mountain ( no other tour does this!This drive depends on roads being open!) and take the back-route to Sun Moon Lake check-in at hotel on Sun Moon Lake in Ida Thao aboriginal village on the lake. Free time to shop in the many little aboriginal shops.
Day 6:

B/fast at hotel, cruise on the lake ,then visit Wen Wu Temple

Then enroute to Taichung past 99 Hills scenic route
Check-in at Inn One City Boutique Hotel on Feng Jia night market. Snack around the night market or sit down for Teppanyaki, sushi, even Burger King if you like.

Day 7:

B/fast at hotel , visit Big Buddha then enroute to Sanyi (woodcarving village) and Lukang (famous ole market street - http://www.greenislandadventures.com/lukangtour.htm ).

Drop-off at hotel or High Speed Rail In Taichung

Throughout the tour there will always be refreshments in the vehicle and frequent stops at western restroom facilities and interesting sites will be made.

Day 6 :

Day 1:

Or our guests can take an option of taking the train from Taipei along the beautiful North East Coast to Hualien where we will meet hem again at the train station.

Frequent stops in Taroko Gorge , walk the tunnel of 9 turns and also walk along the swallow caves area.

Check-in at Charming City Hotel Hualien (dinner at famous dumpling restaurant). After dinner -  tour of the Jade and Marble Market in Hualien. Visit Rainbow Jade shop ( 20% discounts on this beautiful wares only to be gound in Hualien!) this is optional.

Depart Green Island in afternoon for Kenting over the nr. 199 scenic mountain pass and nr 21 coastal route. Visit Aboriginal crafsts shop in Mudan Aboriginal area.
