Coral reefs, the least spoiled in Taiwan, surround the coastline of this lush tropical island.

Orchid Island (traditional Chinese: 蘭嶼; pinyin: Lán Yǔ; POJ: Lân-sū; Yami language: Ponso no Tao or Pongso no Tao) is a 45-km² volcanic island off the southeastern coast of Taiwan and separated from the Batanes of the Philippines by the Bashi Channel of the Luzon Strait. It is governed as Lanyu Township of Taitung County, Republic of China. The island is home to the Tao, an ethnic minority group who migrated to the island from the Batan Archipelago 800 years ago. The island is known to them as Ponso no Tao or Pongso no Tawo (island of the people) or Irala. The island is also known as Botel Tobago.(Wikipedia)

These packages were specifically designed with foreign visitors in mind. The package makes getting there easy; there is someone to greet you and assist you on all legs of the trip. Once you arrive on the island your hosts will greet you at the dock or airport and escort you to your hotel.

You are welcome to arrive as early as you wish, but we cannot promise that your accommodations will be ready before 12:30 p.m. Check out time is 10:00 AM.

The following information is required in order to reserve ferry tickets and travel insurance:

We will appreciate it very much if you would notify us of your cancellation, so that other passengers on the waiting list can be accommodated.
About Cancellations:
In case of natural disaster or, cancellations will be accepted without charge and a full deposit can be refund without charge i.e.: typhoon, flood…etc

Please ask for assistance with transportation to Taitung from Taipei and Taichung;- trains are very full April to September and Chinese New Year and we suggest you book the package at least 1 month in advance.

The pictures above are examples of our rooms. Remember to book well in advance and we will try to reserve the panoramic sea view rooms. All of the rooms do have a sea or mountain view however.
Please note that our cancellation policy ( a full refund) only applies to typhoons rendering the ferries to stop running . No refund will otherwise be given.
All packages include scooters/motorcycles, hot spring tickets, light b/fast ,1 all you can eat bbq and a snorkeling excursion on one of the coral reefs as well as an English map with very helpful information that we compiled.
