If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Taiwan, Green Island is nature-lover's paradise. This island is sparsely-populated and can be circumnavigated in 20 minutes by scooter. Except for a small town on the southern part of the island the island has been kept free from commercial development. This offers the visitor unspoiled natural beauty both on and offshore. The climate on Green Island is tropical and the water temperature is constant throughout the year making it a great place to dive and enjoy the beach in Taiwan's winter months. What to do when I get there?
The activities on Green Island include diving, snorkeling, hiking, salt water hot springs and salt water fly fishing. There is not a lot of nightlife here, except for the nightly parties down at the hot springs (one of only three sea water hot springs in the world!).
Coral reefs abound around the island and are easily accessible. Snorkeling and scuba diving excursions are well organized and can be arranged easily. Tropical fish and coral reefs create a spectacular underwater display, even at shallow depths, and the clear, calm waters offer great visibility.
Green Island offers nice restaurants and small breakfast shops ,and the food is not expensive ( fried rice+- NT 60)
*SCUBA equipment can be rented from us as well.

These packages were specifically designed with foreign visitors in mind. The package makes getting there easy; there is someone to greet you and assist you on all legs of the trip. Once you arrive on the island your hosts will greet you at the dock or airport and escort you to your hotel. Please remember to take sea-sickness tablets if you are prone to getting queezy on boats .

Pick-up and Drop-off procedure - "Standard" package :
In order to catch the ferry we will bring you to the harbor from your pick-up location i.e. bus/train station, hotel or airport.To get your ferry ticket the pick-up driver will lead you to the reception counter of th eferry counter . Please line up here with your passport/ID for insurance purposes. After receiving your tickets , please check the date and time of your return as well.
Passengers need to arrive at the boarding gate 20 min before departure.
To meet your drop-off service for your return to train station etc. , please go to the front entrance of the harbor building( where you picked up the tickets) where your drop-off service will meet you again .Welcome aboard!

Please ask for assistance with transportation to Taitung from Taipei and Taichung;- trains are very full April to September and Chinese New Year and we suggest you book the package at least 1 month in advance.

The pictures above are examples of our rooms. Remember to book well in advance and we will try to reserve the panoramic sea view rooms. All of the rooms do have a sea or mountain view however.
Please note that our cancellation policy ( a full refund) only applies to typhoons rendering the ferries to stop running . No refund will otherwise be given.
All packages include scooters/motorcycles, hot spring tickets, light b/fast ,1 all you can eat bbq and a snorkeling excursion on one of the coral reefs as well as an English map with very helpful information that we compiled.
