If you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of Taiwan, Green Island is nature-lover's paradise. This island is sparsely-populated and can be circumnavigated in 30 minutes by scooter. Except for a small town on the southern part of the island the island has been kept free from commercial development. This offers the visitor unspoiled natural beauty both on and offshore. The climate on Green Island is tropical and the water temperature is constant throughout the year 24 -30 Deg C, making it a great place to dive and enjoy the beach in Taiwan's winter months. What to do when I get there?
The activities on Green Island include diving, snorkeling, hiking, salt water hot springs and fishing. There is not a lot of nightlife here, except for the nightly parties down at the hot springs (one of only three sea water hot springs in the world!).
Coral reefs abound around the island and are easily accessible. Snorkeling and scuba diving excursions are well organized and can be arranged easily. Tropical fish and coral reefs create a spectacular underwater display, even at shallow depths, and the clear, calm waters offer great visibility.
Green Island offers nice restaurants and small breakfast shops ,and the food is not expensive ( fried rice+- NT 60)
*SCUBA equipment and guided scuba trips can be arranged.
(Please know that we are very flexible and can tailormake your holiday to suit your wants and needs and we do have rental cars and golf carts available for guests who do not want to ride scooters.)
NB:!!Please note that during peak season and long weekends we try to find accommodations for our guests all over the island - so a specific hotel can not be promised.
These packages were specifically designed with foreign visitors in mind. The package makes getting there easy; there is someone to greet you and assist you on all legs of the trip. Once you arrive on the island your hosts will greet you at the dock or airport and escort you to your hotel. Please remember to take sea-sickness tablets if you are prone to getting queezy on boats .There are no credit card facilities on Green Island and the ATM machine only accepts local banks' cash cards.So bring enough cash with you please.

"The BEST Package"

Some of our customers want a different experience,at higher rates, as well as a flight option from Taipei to Taitung and Taitung to Green Island and back again.We have therefore decided to open and develop a new hotel located on the Northern side of the island with huge garden , ocean views and beach in front of hotel right on prestine coral reefs.Ideal for family vacations. Only 13 rooms are available - ensuring a personal service experience. Golf Carts can be rented at a cost of NT2000 per day - so if you do not want to ride a motorcycle please use this option.Personal attention is guaranteed and assistance provided throughout your stay i.e. ordering meals etc.We even have a coral reef right in front of the hotel ( in fact the whole island is surrounded by coral reefs!)available to qualified snorkelers with their own equipment.

Pick-up from bus/train station/ airport in Taitung to harbor & Drop-off at bus/train station/ airport in Taitung
Ferry boarding pass × 1(round trip) per person - add Nt 2100 per person for round trip flight from Taitung
Room with A/C, cable TV, and own bathroom
Scooter × 1 ( for every 2 persons sharing) or normal bicycles ;1 each person.Want to have your own scooter..no problem just let us know and we will adjust the price.

We have therefore decided to open a "petit" - only 16 rooms- centrally located "Boutique" establishment affording our guests a different experience on the island.Golf Carts can be rented at a cost of NT2000 per day - so if you do not want to ride a motorcycle please use this option.Personal attention is guaranteed and assistance provided throughout your stay i.e. ordering meals etc.We even have a coral reef right in front of the hotel available to qualified snorkelers with their own equipment.
